Malathi Vasudevan
Malathi comes from a musical family. She started learning Carnatic Vocal from a very young age. She very soon graduated to become a special protege of Sangeeta Kala Acharya, Bombay S. Ramachandran. She had opportunity to hone her talents further by learning from many professional vidwans and vidushis she has hosted, while organising their concerts.
She has performed extensively in India, NZ and Australia including in the prestigious Chennai December Season.
Malathi started learning Veena in her teens from Smt Kalyani Sharma in Bombay (Guru Shri KS Narayanaswamy) Later she continued to train with Smt Mangalam Muthuswamy.
Malathi has performed Veena concerts in Australia and NZ. She has also been invited to perform for various online events.
